Abiding

Spiritual fruit should be the result of a born again Spirit filled life. Spiritual fruit cannot be manufactured it is developed in and through a believers life as they yield themselves to the transformational power of the Holy Spirit. If we abide in Christ and recieve life from the Spirit our lives as believers will result spiritual fruit. 

Life Abundantly

The Promise Part Two

God has made promises in His Word towards believerr and one of those promises deals with the outpouring on the Holy Spirit that was first experienced in the Book of Acts on the Day of Pentecost. This promise is valid and perpetual for born again believers. Acts 2:39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call. God is still calling people, have you received the Promise?

God makes promises in His Word towards believers. Some promises are specific, some are limited while others are general and perpetual. The Great Commandment

Jesus was asked this question, if you could summarize the mission of mankind in one cohesive statement from the Word of God, what would that statement be, what is the great commandment?Jesus the Word of God made flesh answered you shall love the Lord your God first and with all that is within you and second, which is like the first, love your neighbor as yourself, the law and prophets hang on this basic summary from God’s Word. Are you fulfilling the great commandment loving God and loving people? In this message Pastor Tyler challenges us to love people the way Jesus loved people.

Love or Duty?

Christians have a duty to share Jesus with lost people, but our efforts cannot be motivated by duty, they must be motivated by Spirit empowered Love. If we are going to reach lost people with the good news of Jesus love must be the key motivator. The Holy Spirit will enable us to love like Jesus if we will yield ourselves to His empowering.
