What we believe and how we live by faith should be determined by scripture. In this message we focus on what the Bible says about salvation? Sin is the problem, salvation is the solution.

What We Believe Part Two: Jesus

We believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Jesus was fully God and fully man. Because of His divine nature He fulfills the righteous requirements of atonement for sin. Because of His human nature, Jesus can sympathize with us in our suffering, pain and temptation. 

What We Believe: The Scriptures

What we believe is important because what we believe influences our actions. What we believe about the Scriptures are of extreme importance. If we believe the scriptures are inspired and authoritative, then we ought to live accordingly by faith with the help of the Holy Spirit.

The spiritual principle behind the tenth commandment is contentment.

The spiritual principle behind the eight commandment is trust. God does want us to take what doesn't belong to us, He wants us to trust Him to provide for us.

The relational principle behind the eight commandment is intimacy. God wants to have a close relationship with us and desires that we have an intimate relationship with our spouse.

God has commanded us not murder one another, and the spiritual principle behind the commandment is love. How do we love and forgive people who do cruel and harmful things ? How do we love our neighbor as ourselves when our neighbor is difficult to love? 

The Ten Commandments Part Six

The spiritual principle shared in the fifth commandment is honor. How do we honor people who do dishonorable things? Why does God as us to honor people in a fallen world? Honor is also connected to faith. If we learn to honor people who are in authority or where honor is due, it can help us to grow in our faith.

The Ten Commandments Part Five

The spiritual principle behind the fourth commandment is rest. God wants us to rest so that we can be fully present with Him, our spouse, and our families. If we are over worked and over stressed, we will never be fully present and enjoy life as God intended.
