Jonah Part One

Jonah has been called the reluctant prophet, the runaway prophet or the disobedient prophet. It can be easy for us to cast stones at Jonah for his disobedience to God's plan and purpose for his life. Yet many of us are guilty of the same reluctance or disobedience. God calls us to do something and we go in a different direction away from God's plans and purposes.

Drawing Near To God

We are as close or near to God as we desire. If we want to experience a closer relationship with God it's available to anyone who will come and seek God's face. God has done everything on His part to make a close relationship with Him possible. All we have to do is to supply the want to and the commitment to get closer to God.

Can These Bones Live?

If you have ever felt like you can't go on, all hope is gone our you feel trapped; the vision God showed too Ezekiel of a valley of dry bones will encourage you. Whatever the dry bones represent in your life can live again.

An Advantage To Experience

Jesus said it was to our advantage that He goes away so the Holy Spirit would come in His absence. The Holy Spirit is a divine person, not an impersonable force. He is an advantage born again believers should experience.

Spiritual Gifts Part Two

The gifts of the Spirit are still available to all born again believers. The gifts of the Spirit have a ministering purpose and greatly assist believers in Christian living and furthering the kingdom on God. The Gift of Tongues

Tongues can be a sign that a believer has received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Tongues are also a spiritual gift. Tongues can also have a devotional use referred to as praying in the Spirit. In this message we make the distinction between the gift of tongues and the devotional use of tongues as a personal prayer language.
