God did not give us the Ten Commandments as a list of \"do's\" and \"don'ts\" that make it difficult for us to know Him. The Ten Commandments are spiritual principles that help us to draw closer to God and know Him better. For everyone who is born again the Ten Commandments aren't Law they are life. The Holy Spirit who dwells in us, empowers us to live the righteousness of each principle revealed through the commandments.
